Love Yourself

In this intermediate vinyasa class I will invite my students into the powerful notion of loving yourself. The physical parts of our class will focus around intense heart opening poses to create space within our heart chakra. I will guide them into to the mantra of "I deeply, and completely love and accept myself.” We will be moving and breathing to find balance within this energy center of compassion and kindness. My goal is to generate an energy shift inside of us and rather than send love outwards to people and things around us, direct that love and light to ourselves. A lot of us spend so much time giving and loving on the special people in our lives, we don't take the time or have the energy to nurture ourselves. It's not an act of selfishness but an act of self-care. We will work towards finding acceptance of who we are and where we are in our lives and understanding it's all part of our journey. The more we love ourselves, the more we can share that love. At the end of my class, we will spend time in a heart centered meditation. Afterwards, my students will write down 5 things they love about themselves and 5 acts of self love they can do every week. I'll encourage my students to place this list on their mirror, fridge, bedside table, or wherever they will see it everyday as a reminder to continue loving.
