A stillness class engages us to slow down the physical efforts of traditional yogic practice to use yin + restore postures. This effort creates new changes in our traditional world of constant “doing” and asks us to NURTURE subtle shifts in our body + mind + soul activities. Class will include a guided yin/restorative sequence that moves our body into release or healing, holding postures for 3-7 minutes each. We will spend time during each posture in conversation with our mind + body to fine tune our intentional efforts. Discussions will be guided around use of breath practice, emotional experiences and uncovering of real-world triggers The purpose of this session is to truly come into release of our reality without force or strain, a true yin experience to flow into life restored.
