Your Brain on Vinyasa
How yoga changes the brain.  This class will start out with a discussion about what can happen in your brain while you are practicing vinyasa yoga. Students will learn why and when to use intentions and how they work to change the lens through which they view life. Then we will put the techniques into practice on the mat so students can have an embodied experience. The techniques learned in this class can be applied in ANY yoga class with ANY teacher once they are understood.

Overwhelm to Ease
Have you ever found yourself leaving your favorite yoga studio after a blissful practice only to have your inner peace shaken by the return to the real world? You feel that you are able to quiet the flight or fight response in a controlled environment with reinforcing instructions from a guide but still feel lost on how to integrate the mind, body spirit tools of your practice in an unpredictable and sometimes chaotic world.

This panel discussion with YOTM teachers will explore the various ways we can utilize our personal development tools for healing and evolving all the relationships in our lives from family to friends to community to even the world at large. We will also ponder the accountability that comes with living a mindful life in light of all the challenges we see presented to our fellow humans. Expect to be inspired, challenged and activated to address the issues of modern day living.
